• Through preaching the Good News of the coming Kingdom of God, we feed and nourish the flock of God and help prepare His people for the soon-coming of our Lord Jesus Christ ‘as a thief in the night’ marking the beginning of the Day of the Lord (Zech. 3:7; Acts 20:28; Luke 12:40; 2 Pet. 3:10 – Please see our booklet entitled, “The Day of the Lord cometh…” and “Elijah”).
• As a prelude to the ministry of the Two Witnesses (Rev. 11:3), we are to sound ‘an alarm’ to warn the scattered sleeping ‘virgins’ as we announce Christ coming ‘as a thief in the night’ at the beginning of the Day of the Lord (Joel 1:15, 2:1; 1 Thess. 5:2; 2 Pet. 3:10; Rev. 16:15), during which the opening of the seven seals is to occur (Rev. 6-16). We are to assist Christ in knocking on the door of His Laodicean Church (Rev. 3:20; Zech 3:8) and to help seek out His scattered sheep and others (Ezek. 34:12).
